i was inspired to write this:
How many ways can I express my love for you. Given that time is infinite my love for you shall last as long as the clock ticks. even if my heart should stop beating my soul and our legacy will continue. Like the moon guiding the ocean tides you have single-handedly brought me back from the depths of ocean. For a long time I have been drowning, lost, buried under my own frustrations and anger. But you unearthed me, cleansed me, shined me, molded me into an exhibit of my greatest potential.
Your hands worked flawlessly to hold me when I broke. Your eyes full of inspiration shone life back into me. Your smile woke me up from a motionless reality. Your heart chased away my fears and your laughter shielded me from tears. I was a humble being with great limitations. You however raised the bar and forced me to strive for perfection; a perfection that could only match a small fraction of yours. I have a small case of amnesia because I simply cannot imagine my life before you. It was dark, meaningless, and void of inspiration.
Being confused in my complexity, you showed up one day holding the last piece of my puzzle completing my picture. A picture that showed us intertwined until our wrinkles met with the wrinkles of time, taking forward steps into the afterlife.
You showed me the strength of love, all of its intricate details, its determinations, its life. You showed me love’s ability to defy all odds and to create wondrous new meanings.
So I thank you for rescuing me, fulfilling me, creating me, teaching me, and loving me in all of my imperfections. And in return I promise you unyielding love that will rewrite philosophy books. I will love you until life is no more. I will love you beyond words and memories. I will love without fear, without barriers, and without regrets. I will give unto you every promise there is to be made. I will love you with the energy of the sun and the mysteries in the stars. I will love you beyond the end of time.
